Gear

Like the carpenter needs tools to build a house, the musician needs tools to create music. Over the past several years, my tools have included many different pianos, organs, synthesizers, saxophones, guitars and percussion instruments. Many were used and passed on but some remain with me today. Here is a list of the tools I use in my home composing studio or in the recording studios at Middle Tennessee State University.

Acoustic Piano
I prefer Yamaha pianos. I used a nine-foot CFIII concert grand for the recording of Masterpeace. (photo at top of page)
